The committee is organizing a food collection drive. The food collected will be donated to the Meeker Community Food Bank. We are in need of shelf-stable food and frozen meat donations. A food collection tub will be located in the basement of the parish hall. Monetary donations are also welcome. If giving a monetary donation, please make the check payable to Meeker Community Food Bank, place the check in an envelope, and hand it to a SVdP member. The funds are used to help those in need by providing food and gas gift cards, and paying for utilities, medication, and temporary housing. Please inform the SVdP Committee if you know of someone who is in need of assistance. We welcome new SVdP members.
